The customer’s project relocation overseas caused duplicate domestic‑overseas orders due to internal information gaps, which would trigger inventory backlogs and cost losses. Rather than passively following orders, I proactively checked and blocked risks. We should reject inertial thinking, anticipate risks upfront, maintain ultimate rigor, stay free of slackness and fluke mentality, think more, double‑check, deliver solid work and hold the risk‑control bottom line.

In this sharing session, the colleague shared three insights inspired by Kazuo Inamori’s The Laws of Work. First, only by devoting yourself to work with utmost earnestness can you create tangible value. Second, keep pursuing continuous progress, as persistent efforts will widen the gap between individuals over time. Third, set high standards and take the initiative to break through difficulties. Reflecting on daily work, we must cast aside perfunctoriness and the fear of challenges. Drawing lessons from how Inamori revived Japan Airlines by delving deep into every minor detail, we come to understand that work is a practice to temper our inner character. Only by taking proactive action can we achieve self-improvement.

Combining Kazuo Inamori’s philosophy of “every employee is an operator” with real cases from order follow-up work, the colleague elaborated on the core value of this position. The order follow-up role serves as the first line of defense for corporate risk control. Faced with volatile automotive orders, the proactively auditor identifies abnormal demands, intercepts mistakenly generated bulk orders and avoids massive slow-moving inventory. Reject blind order execution and fluke mentality, practice the Six Perfections, strictly contain order risks, and conduct thorough advance control to safeguard the company’s cash flow and profits.

The speaker shared that work serves as a practice to temper our minds and perfect our personalities. The core of accomplishing things lies in taking responsibility: never pass the buck or shirk difficulties. When mistakes happen, reflect on ourselves first and take initiative to resolve troubles. We must not avoid tough and thorny tasks, and remedy weaknesses from the overall perspective of the company. Do not fear failure; review experiences and implement corrections afterward. Think more and act more when facing issues, foresee and defuse risks ahead of time. Create long-term value with consistent sense of responsibility, improve ourselves by shouldering heavy duties, and realize parallel growth of individuals and the business.
